Nadia is currently board member of The ICAL Alumni. She is a Swiss-qualified Attorney-at-law, currently working as a Senior Associate for Bär & Karrer in Geneva. Her practice focuses on counsel work in international and domestic arbitration, as well as cross-border and domestic litigation. She represents parties and acts as secretary to arbitral tribunals in numerous arbitral proceedings, both ad hoc and institutional (e.g. ICC, LCIA, SCAI, CAS) in various disputes relating to oil and gas, international sales, distribution and licensing agreements, shareholders' agreements, brokerage contracts, intellectual property disputes and sport related disputes.

Sabina is a Russian-qualified lawyer pursuing an LL.M. in International Commercial Arbitration at Stockholm University. She has graduated with honors from the National Research University Higher School of Economics (Moscow). Sabina has participated in the 27th and the 28th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. She received the Martin Domke “Best Individual Oralist” Award-Honorable Mention, while her team advanced to the Round of 16 in 2020-2021 season. Currently, Sabina is an intern at the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and a research assistant for Kluwer Arbitration & ITA.

Palak is currently pursuing her LL.M in International Commercial Arbitration Law from Stockholm University as a Stockholm Arbitration Association Scholar. She is an India-qualified lawyer with over four years of experience in commercial arbitration and litigation. After graduating with a First Class LL.B Degree from ILS Law College, Pune, she has previously worked in the disputes' team of two leading law firms in India. She has dealt with matters in mining, oil and gas, banking, education, construction, and infrastructure sectors and has experience in India, London, and Singapore seated arbitrations, both institutional and ad hoc.

Leila is a dispute resolution lawyer specializing in international commercial and investment arbitration. After receiving her full legal education in Ukraine, she completed an LL.M. in International Commercial Arbitration Law in Sweden. Her experience includes working with both leading Ukrainian and international law firms, including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s dispute resolution team in Dubai, and Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr’s international arbitration group in London. Concurrently, Leila is an Assistant Editor at Kluwer Arbitration Blog, a Research Assistant at Arbitrator Intelligence, an Associate at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), a Young ITA Mentee (2021/22) and a Young ICCA Mentee (2022/2023). Having successfully represented her alma maters – Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University and Stockholm University – in the Vis Moot, she is also now coaching the Kyiv Vis Moot team.

Gizem is an admitted lawyer in Turkey and currently pursuing International Commercial Arbitration Law LL.M. at Stockholm University. She holds an LLB from Galatasaray University in Istanbul. Between 2020 and 2021, she worked as a trainee associate at Cetinel Law Firm, based in Istanbul and specialized in international construction law and international dispute resolution. During her internship, she assisted the counsel team in construction arbitration and dispute adjudication board proceedings and an investment arbitration.

Chandrika is an arbitration practitioner and licensed attorney from India, specialising in dispute resolution and commercial litigation. Currently, she is enrolled as a master’s candidate pursuing her LL.M in International Commercial Arbitration Laws from Stockholm University. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in ADR apart from her dual degree in Business Administration and Law. Since her graduation, she had been associated with a boutique law firm in India, practicing law with an aim to promote ADR mechanisms across the country. In her free time, when not absorbed in the latest gripping page-turner, Chandrika loves cooking, riding her bike around town, and collecting fountain pens.

Maxime is currently an Assistant Professor at the Law School of O.P Jindal Global University (India) where he mainly teaches Indian Arbitration law and Contract law. He recently passed the French Bar and has published several academic papers in notorious arbitration reviews”

Andr is a Master’s Student in the International Commercial Arbitration program at Stockholm University. Originally from Romania, Andra moved to the Netherlands at the age of

18 to pursue her Bachelor’s studies in International and European Law. Prompted by a personal motivation to advance her writing and research skills, as well as connect with ICAL alumni, Andra joined the team of the ICALAA Report as an Assistant Editor.

In addition, Andra is currently part of the team representing Stockholm University at the 29th edition of the VIS Moot competition and is working as a legal intern for Bastianetto Alessi, an international boutique law firm located in Brazil.
